The People Behind ABBS Tax
We are a small, dedicated team based in Slacks Creek, Queensland. We take pride in knowing our clients personally and delivering a standard of service that bigger firms simply cannot match.
Rob Boon has been a cornerstone of the Australian bookkeeping industry for over two decades. He was among the first to formalise bookkeeping training in Australia and played a key role in developing the Certificate IV in Bookkeeping after the introduction of the TASA Act in 2009. As a Certified Practising Bookkeeper, registered BAS Agent and the founder of the ABBS group, Rob brings a depth of knowledge and a genuine passion for helping Australian businesses get their finances right. His clients describe him as someone who goes well above and beyond, always available, always professional, and always in your corner.
Victoria is the driving force behind ABBS Tax. With hands-on experience across a wide range of industries including health, trades, manufacturing and professional services, she brings both technical skill and genuine care to every client she works with. Proficient in MYOB, Xero and Excel, Victoria manages tax returns for individuals, sole traders, companies and trusts with the same attention to detail she applies to every piece of work. She is National Crime Check cleared and works within a structured review framework that ensures every return is accurate and fully compliant before lodgement.
Matthew joined his father at ABBS after years of learning the trade from the ground up. Currently completing his Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, Matthew brings a fresh perspective and a strong technical capability to the team. Proficient in MYOB, Xero, Excel and a range of cloud-based tools, he is particularly well suited to helping start-ups and small business owners who want modern, practical bookkeeping support. Backed by the full expertise of the ABBS team, Matthew combines enthusiasm with solid fundamentals to deliver reliable, accurate work every time.
